Back Pressure & Safety Valves
Diaphragm back pressure valves are used to increase the dosing accuracy or to protect the system against excessive pressures. Back pressure valves are used to generate a defined back pressure on the pressure side of the dosing pump. In case of strongly fluctuating pressures or dosing into unpressurized lines, it is difficult to reach exact results without such a pressure relief valve.
Safety valves are used to protect the dosing pump and the dosing lines. Safety valves open a bypass line at a preset pressure and protect the dosing system from damage caused by excessively high pressures.
